I have known Shelly for a long time now and for anyone who would think about using a stud or getting a pup from her have no worries. She takes excellent care of her dogs better than most people care for themselves or kids. No dog of hers will go without. She is doing the testing and only breeds to better the breed. Her dogs is great, excellent health and temperament. The ones she feels is not show/breeding quality she has them spay/neutered and she has kept them. They are a part of her family and treated as such. She is very helpful if someone needs it and if she can't give an answer she will find one for them. We are doing shows together now and really enjoying it. I highly recommend Shelly to anyone that is looking for a puppy, she goes out of her way to make sure they have the right home and once in that home she don't stop there, she is always in contact with whomever making sure everything is ok and if not I have seen her do what she can to make it right. You couldn't ask for a better person, friend, breeder and all around animal lover.

I am writing this on behalf of my sister, Shelly, to let people know what a wonderful person she is, because it carries over on her doggies.
Shelly fell in love with her first dog, Belle, as she would if had been her own child. That love continued with each dog.
She takes great pride in these dogs and she very well should.
These dogs are a part of our family. They have a very large, well kept, fenced in yard to run and play in, as well as igloo's to sleep in. She even keeps hay outside for them...awwwwww.
Her dogs get the utmost attention from her and her boys. They play with them, run with them, walk them, take them to the park to play...u name it, they do it.
If they sniffle, she has them at the vet...lol. No not really, im just making the point that she makes sure they are healthy dogs and are current if not ahead on all of their shots, exams, etc.
Although i know huskies to be outside dogs, hers sure do love cuddling up to everyone inside as well. They absolutely have their share of couch time.
I just wanted to let people who may be interested in a husky, that you couldnt find a more well maintained, healthy and loved dog anywhere else other than my sister Shelly's kennel.

Hi! We're are one of the lucky families to recieve a SnowStorm puppy (SnowStorm's Arctic SubZero). Shelly was soooo wonderful with the puppies and she chooses forever homes for her puppies very carefully! Zero is absolutely wonderful at 11 weeks old. Thank you for giving us the opportunity of receiving one of your wonderful puppies. The time and effort you put into caring for the puppies is reflected in the Sibe we received, Snowstorms Alyeska's Shadow.
If anyone is interested in a Siberian Husky, Shelly and Snow Storms Kennels take pride that their pups are healthy (eye, hips, vaccines, etc), have a good temperament and will make great companions. As a Siberian Husky lover, I appreciate all the effort Shelly provides in making sure that the potential family of the pup will be there for the pup's entire life. In addition, the Snow Storms website and her application process ensure that the potential family is well educated on Siberian Huskies and what they are getting into.

 We got Keena when she was 9 weeks old. She was sweet and didnt take any stuff off our older Husky. As she has gotten older she is still sweet and stubborn, but she does aim to please and is very smart. She loves her family and tries her best to make us happy. Which she does on a regular basis. Even when she is tearing up the house or her personal favorites my shoes she is always cute and lovable. I will be putting her in obedience class soon.Our vet said she is a great puppy and is doing wonderfully. |

Not only did I get the chance to own a SnowStorm Puppy, SnowStorms Artic Angel from the breeding of Amber and Barron, but I also got the opportunity to meet Shelly her family and her pack. Her dogs greeted me and my family like we were long lost friends and they were even more beautiful in person.
The dedication that Shelly puts into her kennel and the people thats buying from her is amazing. Shelly made sure that I got to watch my little one grow by sending me pictures every week from the birth, first bath, to the day I came to bring her home.
She also makes sure the puppys are healthy and well socialized by raising them in her home, they interact with her and her children and even the cat, so you can be well assured that your puppy will be well ajusted to any situation. My Siberian Bandit just loves Angel and they got along great from day one.
If you are looking for a happy, healthy, well adjusted puppy look no futher than SnowStorm Kennels. Not only did I find my perfect little Angel but I also found a friend in Shelly. I made the drive from North Carolina to get this puppy and the only regret I have is that I dont live closer so I could visit more often with Shelly and her pack. Thank You Shelly for giving me this oppurtunity, Angel is a dream come true.

It has been a wonderful experience getting a puppy from Snowstorm
kennels. From the very first contact with Shelly, we could tell how
much she loved her huskies and how dedicated she was to finding just
the right homes for her puppies. Shelly kept us informed of every step
in the process—from letting us know Amber was pregnant to the birth of
the puppies—and then sent us weekly pictures and updates which was
wonderful and meant so much to our family. When we went to pick out our
puppy, we were so impressed with how well taken care of the puppies
were. It was clear that they were well socialized and loved by Shelly
and her family. Our new puppy, Samson, is very healthy and happy. We
would highly recommend Shelly to anyone interested in a Siberian husky
puppy.

My experience with Shelly from Snowstorm Kennels is a great one. I purchased a Snowstorm puppy from her on Feb 10, 2007.The puppy that I have is a very sweet boy and very healthy. I believe that if any one is interested in a Siberian Husky than you need to contact Shelly at Snowstorm Kennels.She worked with me very well kept in touch before I got Dakota and answered any of my questions,that I had. I can say that I have dealt with other breeders and have not been more comfortable than with Shelly. I did get to meet her and her family and they seem to really care. I did get Dakota's mom and dad's pictures and were able to keep them.She is a very nice person and I can tell that she would be the one that you would need to contact if interested in a husky.And for her web site it is very nice and specific on things.And I hope that in the future if I ever decide to expand than I can come back to her for another. |

We just wanted to let everyone know how we feel about Shelly and Snow Storm Kennels. Just looking at the web page shows how much Shelly cares for her Sibes. They are beautiful and the pictures show they are well cared for and loved. When we first contacted Shelly about a female puppy, she had none available. Fortunately for us, someone had to drop out of taking Sierra and when we got Shelly's e-mail, we jumped at the opportunity. Shelly and her family met us along with 2 other couples half way between our home and Snow Storm Kennels for us to get Ms Sierra. We met Shelly and even though we had heard how she cares for her animals on the phone, seeing Shelly with the puppies was great! She gave us a packet with pictures of Sierra's parents and Sierra from birth plus paperwork for us to continue with her shots. We have maintained contact with Shelly sending her pictures of Sierra as she grows up and are so happy to receive her e-mails with pictures of Sierra's siblings.
Amber's "Sierra" Storm is a beauty and joy! Everyone always tells us what a beautiful puppy we have and we agree! She fit right in with our other 2 Sibes who are 8 & 9 and she is keeping them well exercised and young! We have learned to put up the garbage cans and put away our clothes and shoes and thank her for making our home a cleaner place to live - except for her toys, of course! Each time she finds something new - the pool, the creek, toads, squirrels, we find ourselves laughing once again.
If anyone is interested in a Siberian Husky, go to Shelly and Snow Storm Kennels. We highly recommend them!
